Here's a non-commercial, un-licenced mashup album about just that.

In advertising, "borrowed interest" is the intentional association of an unrelated theme, event or image with a product, service or subject being presented, to attract attention otherwise not anticipated.

To me, that sounds a helluva lot like mashups!

I’m very excited to release “Mash Men” into the world, an album I’ve been working on since about October last year.

Of all my mashup albums released, this one is probably closest to my usual taste in music choices, although it is my first release with no Nine Inch Nails samples, which is very unlike me!

For once, I’ve sat on a couple of the tracks until today’s release date instead of banging them out once they’re done, so the album comprises about 50% of new material not released before this month!
