The Drum Chip Shop Award Nomination

Quick update to say that my entry to The Drum Chip Shop Awards has been nominated in the category of Best Shop Window Postcard.

Unlike a lot of advertising awards, most entries are not existing campaigns, but proposed, rejected, spec and parody campaigns that show the creative thinking of the creator. The quote the awards’ website:

The Chip Shop Awards celebrate pure, unadulterated creativity. It's a platform where anything and everything is allowed, an awards with no rules and no boundaries meaning the possibilities are endless!

Got a great campaign idea for a product that doesn't yet exist? Enter it. Think you could improve an existing advert? Go for it. Got a concept for a brand you’d love to work for in the future? We want to see it. Whatever you're capable of, don't hold back.

All of this year’s nominations are visible on the website, as well as entries and winners of previous years, and it’s well worth a few minutes browsing to see some funny, creative work.

The final is on June 6th in London, so fingers crossed for that.
